DIPLOMATS’ INTENTIONS CONTINGENCY OF WAR (Reed. May 27, 9 a.m.) VATICAN CITY, May 25. The Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Maglione, has circularised all diplomatic representatives asking for an immediate reply as to whether they desire accommodation in Vatican City in the event of their countries going to war against Italy. All embassies and legations accredited to the Holy See are now situated outside the boundaries of Vatican City.
