THROUGH NAZI EYES
BRITISH SEA “LOSSES” MORE THAN TOTAL SHIPS (Reed. May 27, 9 a.m.) LONDON, May 26. Undeterred .by the fact that at the outbreak of the war Britain had only 15 capital ships, the German propagandists already have claimed that 25 British capital ships have been sunk or damaged. Saturday’s German High Command communique stated that off Narvik on Friday a number of British cruisers and destroyers and one battleship and one aircraft carrier and a number of merchantmen etc., had been lost Authoritative quarters in London "state that the entire list rs a fabrication. There were no such losses.
