DOG TRIALS DANCE (Herald Correspondent.) A happy ending ,to the Waiapu dog trials was a dance hel/t in the "T. S. Williams Memorial Hall, Ruatoria. Although there was a good attendance there was not the usual large crowd on account of the petrol restrictions. The supper tables and room looked pretty with chrysanthemums, autumn berries and foliage, which had been artistically arranged by Mrs. H. E. ' Williams. A delicious savoury supper was served under the supervision of Mrs. p. G. Burton and' Mrs. Trevor Coleman, who were ably assisted oy Mesdames'Ralph Kemp, O. T. Williams and'WLN'; R. Tier, Misses M. Maxwell, Beth Ferguson, D. Smith, end Margot Williams. The music was played by the Moonlight jazz band. Mr. S. McCosh thanked all those who had helped towards the success of the trials and dance. He especially thanked the ladies, who were always so willing to assist the club. Among those present were Mesdarpes Q. T. .Williams, ,P. G. J3urtqn, Trevor Coleman, W- 'R.-Tier, Frank Bruce, G.
