CLOTHES ON RIVER BANK

A bundle of clothes found on the bank of the Waikato River just above the Huka Falls on Friday has been identified as belonging to Mr. Charles Singh, aged 57, a well-known resident of Taupo, who has been reported missing. It is not known when Mr. Singh was last seen alive, but the police, who have been searching the river below the falls, have found no trace of the missing man.
