STORMING OF LAON OISE—AjISNE CANAL “PURSUIT” CONTINUED (Reed. May 21, 3 p.m.) LONDON, May 20. Tb-nighte German communique that German troops stormed Laon and the swastika was hoisted " on the Town Hall. The Germans also ■claim' to have advanced south-west and -to have reached the Oise-Aisne canal. The official German news agency says: “The pursuit of the enemy is continuing. Our forces and dive bombers repulsed a French armoured attack north of Laon and destroyed 50 tanks. Strong German forces, advanced along the Aisne.”
