Kohn, formerly of Gisborne and for some years in the employ of the Health Department as a district nurse in the Dannevirke area, nas been appointed Dominion secretary of the Juinir Red Cross organisation The appointment was announced ; n Wairoa on Thursday evening, w.cen Miss E. M. King, Napier, attended a meeting to discuss the combined Red Cross and St. John Appeal for funds for sick and wounded soldiers. Miss Kohn is a daughter of Mrs. I. Mirfield, Gisborne, and commenced her connection with the nursing profession as a probationer in the Wairoa Hospital.
