SIR CHAS. FORBES’ POST CHATFIELD RETIRES (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2.10 p.m. RUGBY, May .8 Admiral of the Fleet, Lord Chatfield, completes five years in that rank today. The King has approved of the promotion in the vacancy which this creates of Admiral Sir Charles M. Forbes to be Admiral of the Fleet to date from to-day. In consequence Vice-Admiral Sir Dudley North is promoted to Admiral.
