RETIRED ENGINEER

DEATH OF MR. E. E. GILLON (IVr Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The death is announced of Mr. Ernest Edward Gillon, aged 72, who retired some years ago from the Railway Department service, with which he was chief mechanical engineer. The late Mr. Gillon, who was the eldest of the late Mr. E. T. Gillon. editor of the Evening Post, is survived by his wife'and two sons.
