SWEDISH NEUTRALITY
RESPECT BY GERMANY HITLER ASSURES KING (Reed. May 8, 9 a.m.) LONDON, May 7. The Stockholm correspondent of ths■ Associated Press of Great Britain sav.that the Swedish Foreign Office confirms that King Gustav and Herr Hitler exchanged cable messages. King Gustav re-emphasised Sweden's continued neutrality, and Herr Hitler replied giving an assurance that Germany respected that neutrality.
