OBITUARY

Many friends in this' district will regret to learn of the death this week of two sisters of Mr. Adam Wilson, late manager of tho Bank of New Zealand. Gisborne, and Mr. John C. Wilson, Te Karaka. Miss Margaret Wilson, who was Ihe eldest daughter of the late Mr, and Mrs, John Wilson, Thames, died in Auckland on Thursday after a long illness. Miss Wilson was formerly matron of the Thames Hospital and subsequently conducted r. private hospital in Auckland prior la her retirement some years ago. She was known to a circle of friends ii Gisborne, having resided here recently for some months. The second death was that of Mrs. Broadbent, wife of Mr.' Archibald Broadbent, who wa: the youngest sister of the Messrs. Wilson, and had been a resident o! Carterton for many years.
