SOUTH EAST EUROPE ECONOMIC DISCUSSIONS (Reed. March 29, 2 p.m.) LONDON, March 28. With reference to the invitation issued by the Foreign Secretary, Viscount Halifax, to the British Ambassador at Angora and the British Ministers at Athens, Belgrade, Bucharest, Budapest and Sofia to return to England to confer with him at the Foreign Office early in April, it is stated that the consultations will deal with • economic and political questions.
The action by Lord Halifax follows the decision of the French Government to call home its envoys for consultation. •
