Golf Shop Thefts

An intruder broke a window in the professional’s shop at the Poverty Bay Golf Club’s Awapuni links last night to gain entry to the building and steal golf balls, cigarettes and soft drinks to an approximate value' of £3 17s 3d. The burglary was noticed this morning by an employee of Messrs. Chrisps, Limited, Mr. D. Cederwall, who operates the shop on behalf of the company.
