Forecast: Moderate to fresh northerly to westerly winds prevailing, with a south-westerly change extending later over the southern half of the South Island. Sens: In New Zealand waters, rough about Cook Strait, father rough at times south of Cape Egmont and Foveaux Strait: elsewhere slight or moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to fresh northerly to westerly winds, changing later to south-westerly in the southern portion; seas, rather rough.
