EXCHEQUER RETURNS ORDINARY REVENUE (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, March 27. With a week still to go before the 2nd of the financial year, the Exchequer returns show that the tota. ordinary revenue, at £1,025,427,334, already exceeds the Budget estimate by over £35,000,000. The inland revenue as a whole if only £10,000.000 short of the estimate, while the yield from customs and excise already exceeds the estimate by nearly £24,000,000. Income tax has yielded £383.699,000, compared with £327,733,000 a year ago and against tire estimate of £390,000,000.
