POVERTY BAY TEAMS LEADERSHIP CONTESTS TWO DAYS’ PLAY TO GO With only two more days’ play before the end of the competition in both the Senior A and Senior B Grade, interest in the Poverty Bay Cricket Association’s trophy competitions grow decidedly keen. In both grades the leadership is shared, and other teams in lower places still have chances of success. The points scored by the respective teams in each grade are shown below:— Senior A Grade. —Marist, 40; G.H.S. 0.8. 40; City, 36; Old Boys, 28 (one two-day match to go). Senior B Grade:—Gisborne Club. 82; United B. 82; G.H.5.0.8. White, 76; G.H.5.0.8. Blue, 76; Marist, 73; Civil Service, 67; City, 52; United A, 43; High School B, 22 (two one-day matches to go).
