DOMINION RECRUITS

ENLISTMENTS TOTAL 28,919 730 DURING WEEK (For Pross Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Up to the end of last week 28.919 men had enlisted throughout New Zealand for service in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, being an increase of 730 during the week. Of the men medically examined so far 20,235 have been classed fit, 2509 temporarily unfit, 3394 permanently unfit, while 1663 are in reserved occupations. In all, 14,973 men have been sent to camp. The balance of fit men available for posting is 3253.
