ACTIVITY IN BALKANS ITALIAN AND TURKISH RECORD RUMANIAN ARMY (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. March 1. 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 1. With the calling up of 200,000 men, tlie Rumanian army now totals 1,600,000. This is Rumania’s largest army in history. The gathering of soldiers continues throughout southern and south-east-ern Europe. The Turkish artillery has called up 11 classes of non-commis-sioned officers for training. Signor Mussolini has incorporated 132 battalions of the Black Shirt militia into the army.
