Tony Martin and Arthur Treacher. The picture lias been received with enthusiasm by press and audiences alike in America, England and Australia. Action scenes in “Man of Conquest” are gripping, especially at the Battle of the Alamo and the Battle of Jacinto, where Houston’s army routed Santa Ana’s. George Nicholls, jun., has directed masterfully. He has given the public an enthralling picture, swift-moving and exciting throughout. His dramatic movements are handled deftly. “Man of Conquest” is definitely an outstanding production. ranking with Hollywood’s best. The associate feature, “My Wife’s Relations.” introduces the hilarious Higgins family portrayed by James Gleason, Lucile Gleason and Russell Gleason. The programme will open at 7.30 p.m. with “The Lone Ranger.”
