SPENDING IN AMERICA
FOREIGN PURCHASES (Reed. March 2, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, March 1. The Reserve Bank reports that foreign expenditures are exceeding the gold sales. The Uhitecl States estimates of foreign spending during the last four months averaged at least £50.000,000 monthly.
