NOTICE is hereby given that on the 9th. day of February, 1940, a resolution was passed by special entry made and signed by me in the minute book of the Matakaoa County Council, pursuant to the provisions of Subsection (8) of Section 10 of the Local Legislation Act 1932-33, authorising the raising of a loan of L 4700 for the purpose of paying off the Council’s overdraft account with the Bank of New Zealand, such loan to be known as The Overdraft Funding Loan 193!) of L 3700, and to bear interest at: 3J per centum per annum, and to be repaid with interest as aforesaid by sixty equal half-yearly instalments of principal and interest. The security for the said loan js a special rate of one-ilfteenth of a penny in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the County of Matakaoa. And notice is hereby also given that the said resolution will be confirmed as a special order by a similar entry in the minute book of the said Council on tlie 18th. day of March; 1940. A full copy of the said Resolution is deposited at the County Office at Te Araroa, where it lies open to inspection of the public during office hours until the same shall be confirmed as above, stated.
