BIRTHS IN WAIROA FIGURES FOR FEBRUARY (Special to the Hof aid.) WAIROA, this day. There were 18 births in the Wairoa district during February, compared with 19 for the corresponding month last year, while tire deaths totalled eight, as against four last year. Up to the end of February the total number of births for the year was 40, compared with 35 for the corresponding period last, year, while the deaths numbered 12, as against seven. Marriage notices issued by the registrar for the first two months totalled eight, which shows a decrease of four, on those issued during January and February last year.
