LONDON, Dec. 20. Miss Elsie Carter, who joined Yardloy’s perfumery business in London 30 years ago, is given a legacy of XIOOO in the .C 153,000 will of Mr. Diehard Exton Gardner, vicechairman and joint managing director, which was published yesterday. The gift, with others to members of the staff, is “in grateful acknowledgement of loyalty and assistance In my business life.” Miss Carter is in charge of the overseas branches.
