The council of the New Zealand Rugby League has decided that registered Rugby League players who have joined up with His Majesty’s forces are free to participate in football matches piayed under any code during the period of active service without prejudice to their status as Rugby League players. The council has also decided that the time and conditions are at present inopportune to accept an Australian’ invitation for a New Zealand team to tour there, this decision being in accordance with the original stipulate m on the proposal.
