TOTAL NOW £26,144
The eighth list of donations to the national patriotic fund brings the total to £20,144 10s lOd, the principal donations since the last list appeared being £IOOO from the Overseas’ Shipowners' Allotment Committee.
Messrs. Gollin and Company, Limited. have donated £SO, and Messrs. H. E. Perry have forwarded a similar sum. allocated evenly on account ot' the firm’s branches in the four cities, Messrs. Armstrong and Springhall, Limited, have donated £52 10s. and Mr. L. Gerandis £25, with an additional £5 from Mr. J. G. Gerandis. The directors of Aspro, Limited, have appropriated £2O for the patriotic fund, and Messrs. J. .T, Rothschild and Company, Limited, £lO 10s. A donation of especial interest is that of £8 10s 3d forwarded to the National Patriotic Fund Board by the engineers of the First New Zealand Expeditionary Force.
