CAUGHT RED HANDED

BURGLAR IN HOUSE SENT FOR SENTENCE (Pur Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Arriving home with his wife on the evening of February 18, Maurice Basset, Hataitai road, found an intruder in the house. Fie chased and caught him and handed him over to the police. In consequence Flarold Charles Martin, aged .34, a salesman, was charged in the Police Court to-day before Mr. W. H. Freeman, S.M. He pleaded guilty to breaking, entering and theft of a suit and other articles. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
