PATUTAHI NEWS
TENNIS CLUB DANCE (Herald Correspondent.) The monthly dance of the Patutahi Tennis Club was held in the Patutahi Hall on Saturday evening, a jolly crowd of young, people attending. Music was played by Mr. J. White. A dainty buffet supper, was provided. Among those present were Misses B. Bilham, M. Robb, M. Atkins, J. Monteith, J. Carnegie, S. Griffon, C. Cameron, J. Fade, M. Stubbings, A. Saggers, N. Lange, M. Waddell, E. Ritchie, J. Jones, J. Bryson, P. Maris'on. E. Baylie, L. Coggrave, K. arid J. Williams. Miss 'J. Carnegie was the week-end guest of Miss M. Robb.—Miss E. Baylie, who lias been visiting Miss M. Waddell, has returned home. A pleasant day was spent at the Waihirirc Domain on Saturday by parents, teachers and children of St. George’s Anglican Sunday School. Mrs. G. A. Nicholls will address the patriotic meeting to be held in the Patutahi Hall at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Patterns and materials will be available for those willing to help in this good work.
