GISBORNE PAIRS FINAL ALLEN AND PERRETT WIN The Gisborne Rowing Club's Gordon Pairs final was decided last evening, when S. Allen (str) and JPerrett. Bsec. defeated A. Terry (str.) and J. Menzies, 4sec. Allen made the most of his stait. and although Terry set off at a fast stroke in pursuit he was unable to narrow the distance sufficiently. He was two lengths behind at Derby street. Allen eventually winning by a length. ___________
