EXTRA 250,000 MEN

BRITONS REGISTER (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 12.30 p.m. RUGBY, Feb. 18. Men of the 20 and 23 years age groups liable for military service registered yesterday at labour exchanges. The registration was expected to yield about 200,000 men for the three services. ' The registrations brought in 257,802 men, including 5114 provisionally objectors. The registration of “twenty-fours” is to take place on, March 9, three weeks earlier than was expected owing to the increased absorption speed.
