NEW GERMAN FIBRE DEVELOPMENT CLAIMED (Reed. Feb. 13, 9 a.m.) BERLIN, Feb. 12. The German State railways announce that scientists have developed a fibre with a tensile strength greater than that of steel. It js called P O fibre and is expected soon to lighten the burden of the German iron market. It is claimed that it possesses high insulating powers, is no. i absolutely waterproof, acid proof and rot proof and is particularly suitaD.c for reinforcing concrete.
