BAN ON KILTS
TECHNICAL REASONS (British Official Wireless.) Rccd. 1.30 p.m. RUGBY, Jan. 23. In the House of Commons, the Minister of War, Mr. Oliver Stanley, said that kilts were not being issued to Scottish regiments in the war zone, except, to pipers and drumpiers, owing to technical reasons connected with the enemy’s possible use of gas.
