MARKET FOR ROMNEYS EASIER TENDENCY INCREASED OFFERING The annual Gisborne Ram Fair opened in the showgrounds rostrum this morning. Romneys were offered to-day. and other breeds will be sold to-morrow. The entry of flock Romneys totalled 1940. -he largest since 1937 and 282 more than last year. Two stud Romneys were also in the catalogue Values were slightly down on last year’s Romney rates and during the first hour’s selling the top price was only The highest price last year, secured towards the end of the sale, was 12gns.
