ROUSING SEND-OFF

RECRUITS FOR CAMPS AUCKLAND MARCH (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. A stirring send-off was given to the men who have joined up with the Second Echelon when they marched through the city this morning before entraining for Papakura and Ngaruawahia camps. Led by a military band, a batch of 300 for Papakura first marched down Queen street, acclaimed by crowds at various points, especially groups of cheering girls clustered in office windows. After a brief interval, the second batch, for Ngaruawahia. also had an enthusiastic farewell.
