SALE OF FREIGHTERS
AMERICAN PERMIT CANADA—NETHERLANDS (Reed. Jan. 10, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. 8. The Maritime Commission has approved of the sale of the American freighters, Canadian, of 2214 tons, and San Lucas, of 6588 tons, to Netherlands and Canadian buyers respectively for trade between the United States and Europe. The vessels will operate on the Guatemalan and Canadian registry respectively.
