GOING TOO FAR
LONDON, Dec. 2. Unhappily married husband Norman Davies, of Spring gardens, Bradford, Yorks, who threw all his wife’s belongings on the fire, was fined 7s Gd at Bradford Police Court—because he included her gas mask. The summons was for “failing to use reasonable care for the preservation of a civilian gas mask.”
