FELL IN 1500 FT SHAFT
LONDON, Dec. 1. Joseph Thomas, aged 41, a colliery fitter, overbalanced while reaching for a spanner and fell 1500 ft. to lvis death down a pithead shaft ,at Duffryn Rhondda Colliery (Glam.).
