MATAWAI NEWS
NEW HALL COMMITTEE (Herald Correspondent.) A meeting to form a new hall committee was held recently in Matawai by the Progressive League. The following committee was . elected: — Messrs. W. F. Robb, chairman, H. Bulst, C. Korte, A. Marshall, S. Thompson, Mrs. C. Fielder, and Mrs. C. V. Smith. It was decided to hold a flower show next month, as in previous years, and to conduct the centennial celebrations at the same time as the annual sports meeting in March.
