AMERICAN MINISTER
POST IN AUSTRALIA (Reed. Jan. 8, 2.50 p.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 7. The correspondent of the Associated Press of America, in a message from Washington, says it is expected that the first United States Minister at Canberra will be a career man, either a Minister transferred from another country, or ‘ a diplomat drawn from the State Department.
