BALING WIRE SHORTAGE

Unless supplies of wire for baling hay are received within the next week in Rotorua, there will be a serious position, stated a well-known farmer in the district. Crops of hay have been good this summer, and, with splendid drying weather, the loss has been much smaller than in recent years. It is considered possible that the District Council for Primary Production may investigate the matter, and endeavour to arrange for supplies.
