STOVE EXPLOSION

When a spirit stove he was lighting exploded, Frank Peacock, aged 35, of Hamilton, was severely burned and had to be taken to the W'nangarei Hospital. Mr. Peacock was camping a,t Helena Bay when the accident occurred. Wi.th extensive burns to the face, chest, feet and hands, as well as suffering from shock, his condition is reported to be serious.
