The Rev. T. A. Moresby, Te Puke, is on holiday in Gisborne. Mr. L W. Anderson, secretary of the Y.M.C.A., Gisborne, left recently to undertake temporary duties m connection with the Y.M.C.A. station at the Papakura military camp Although Sir Apirana Ngata was present at Maketu on Tuesday, serious illness prevented his taking any part in the centennial celebrations, reports the Rotorua Post.
