GLEN AFTON MINE

An attempt was made last week to reopen the portion of the Glen Afton mine which has been sealed since the disaster of September 24, when 11 men lost their lives, but as a result of the fire in this area reheating, it was found necessary to reseal the mine. It probably will be some time before a further attempt is made.
