POLICE STATION ESCAPE (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ this day. Eugene Charles Dominic Patrick McCarthy, aged 31. a labourer, escaped from the nolice station last evening and is still at liberty. Tlie accused is charged with indecent assault and a remand sine die wa.s granted when the case was called in the Police Court this morning. The accused is believed to have narrowly escaned recanture at Longburn.
