The Southland Racing Club’s summer meeting was concluded yesterday in line weather. One or two showers fell during the day. The track was in good order. The attendance was large. The ‘"tote” turnover for the day was £18,963 10s,. against £19,168 10s on the second day last year, a decrease of £232.
