• U.S. COMMUNISTS ACTIVITIES OF BUND NAZI GROUP CONTROL (Reed. Jan. 4, 11.50 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. 3. The Dies Committee, reporting to Congress, said: “Careful examination of the facts justifies .the assertion that the Communist Party of the United States is a foreign conspiracy gnashed as a political party. “The German-Amerlcan Bund receives its inspiration and programme direction from Nazi groups built up in Austria and Czechoslovakia prior to the annexation.”
'lt is alleged that the American League for Peace and Democracy is subservient to the Communist Party.
Ten or 12 unions out of the 48 grouped with the Committee of Industrial Organisation were “more than tinged with communism.”
