REBEKAH LODGE

The Gisborne Rcbekah Lodge, No. 8, held a meeting recently at whicn the; noble grand, Sister E. English, presided over a fair muster of members. The visiting committee reported that several members were sick. It was decided that the children’s party would be bold at a later date owing to so many members wishing to attend the Centennial Exhibition. Next lodge night was left free owing to the holidays. A reading at sight competition was held recently and 10 members took part, including six past grands and four sitting officers. The judges were Brother Harvey, G.L.R.. and Brc. Hunter, P.D.D.G.M.
