WELLINGTON TOURNEY FRANCE CHAMPION (Per l’ress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Wellington Lawn Tennis Association’s annual championship tournament, which began on Saturday and was continued on Monday, concluded at Miramar yesterday. With the exception of the mixed doubles the finals were won as follows: A Grade Men’s Singles.—D. G. France. Men’s Doubles.—France and N. V. Edwards. Women’s Singles.—Miss J. Douthett. Women’s Doubles.—Mesdames D. G. France and Dykes. B Grade Men’s Singles.—A. M. Johns. Men’s Doubles.—A. Henderson and J. Manning. Women’s Singles.—Miss J. Carrell. Women’s Doubles. —Misses Adams and Henderson. Mixed Doubles.—Dunn and Miss Monkman. C Grade Men's Singles—D. Manning. Women’s Singles.—Miss D. Monk. Boys’ Singles.—R. McKenzie. Girls’ Singles.—Miss P. Longton. MIXED DOUBLES WAERENGA-'HIKA TENNIS (Herald Correspondent.) Favourable weather attracted a good attendance of players and visitors to the Waercnga-a-hika Tennis Club’s courts on Saturday, when a mixed doubles competition \vas held. The courts were in good condition and some excellent games were played, the final winners being Mrs. U Fade and J. Ingrain. Afternoon tea was served by the ladies. Those taking part in the play were O. Grant, R. B. Jones, T. Darton, A. Friar, J. Ingram, R. Richardson, J. O’Rourke, M. Coombs, J. B. Greig, B. Camming, B. Cook, Laseron, and L. Fade; Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Eade; Misses M. Farrow, E. Howcxoft, M. Cumming, N. Rogers, M. Bafker. and W. Fenton.
