SUCCESSFUL MEETING

FRASERTOWN SPORTS TIN HARE RACES POPULAR GISBORNE SUCCESSES (Special (o the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. Despite the threatening weather, the Frasertown Athletic Club’s annual sports meeting, which was held on the Frasertown Domain yesterday, proved an outstanding success, there being a large attendance of both Wairoa and Gisborne people. Tin-hare racing run in conjunction with the Gisborne Greyhound Racing and Coursing Club was an added attraction. This was the first time events of this nature had been run in Wairoa and, judging by the keen interest displayed by the public, _ they should be a worth while addition to the programmes of future sports meetings in the district.
