400 PERSONS PERISH FOREST FIRE’S TOLL (Klee. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Jan. 3, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. 1. The Tokio correspondent of the United Press of America reports that a forest fire in the famous Diamond Mountain area of Korea killed 400 persons. It threatened to raze shrines and temples dating from the sixth century.
