The Paris correspondent of ibe Daily Telegraph reports the death of the noted radiologist, Charles .Waillant, whose right forefinger .was amputated in 1906 owing to radium burns. He lost his left forefinger in 1910 and .his left hand in 1915. His left shoulder was disarticulated in 1920. Progressive effects caused his retirement in 1921. DEATH OF AUTHOR (Reed.
