UNIDENTIFIED WARSHIPS RESCUE OF STEAMER (Reed. Oct. 23, 11 a.m.) COPENHAGEN. Oct. 22. Farmers and fishermen in North lutland report a naval battle between unidentified warships oil the coast. Farmers watching from tloe hillsides at Hirtshals, North Jutland, say hat they saw a naval vessel, either o submarine or a torpedo boat, intericpt a steamer. Two large vessels appeared and fired on the smaller vessel for 15 minutes, tloe steamer escaping, followed by the interception vessels. The warships later disap peared northwards.
